Throughout its product history, Adidas has rarely been given its truly deserved spotlight. Jesse Owens, at one point in time, was the world's fastest man. He attained this title during the Olympics when Hitler was in power. Jesse Owens went on to set THREE new world records. And tied a fourth. He was black. And he was wearing Adidas track shoes. There was a time when a great evil power on the rise, seeking to rule and dominate the world, spreading false beliefs of how there was one, true race. And here comes this black guy, from Ohio, named Jesse Owens. He's at the Olympics, given the opportunity of a lifetime, to prove not only to himself but also to Hitler, and the rest of the world that, no, there is not one true race. There are many races, and they are all good. Jesse proved this. And he did it while wearing a pair of Adidas running shoes.
