Each fine detail such as the tension in the curves and the contours of the form were contemplated before making the model. I also wanted to try something different in the modeling staege to develop my skills so I used the vaccum former to create the clear acrylic cover on the rear section, this allowed me to include depth in my model and still maintain the outer profile. The colour choice was also a major factor. I wanted something that would highlight the lines and work with the shape. I ended up going for a two tone colour scheme which merged a high luster silver with a similar ice blue (both metallic).The way the two colours work together and show off the detailing on the model I feel is extremely good.
