Hi

I'm amazed at how you don't have at least a 1 star rating...some of your drawings show some creative ideas and interesting renders. Maybe you should lodge a complaint. Just kidding.

Anyways, you should definitely keep posting...see how fast theyll give you that 3 star rating.

Hi,
For a 14 year old, your stuff is pretty good. You have a lot of time ahead of you to become a better designer. Keep on drawing.

Hi Andrei,

Sorry I sounded a bit "uptight" in my original entry. I figure I should've made the same point but been a bit more supportive.

Your work is improving with each sketch. I hope you keep going and keep exploring new ideas.

looking forward to seeing more of your stuff when you're ready.

Keep on pushing!

Mike

just to make a little comment, i guess i shouldnt post stuff that i havent completely done from scratch that i used to improve my paths and lighting techniques, and srry to Jerzy Cyrulik for doing that. anyways, i guess i learned a valuable lesson, and that is what the design process is all about. thanks to mike turner for the heads up. i also have some stuff under graphic design if anyone wants to check that out.
thnx a ton.

Andrei - get real.

Your Lamborghini images are a poor man's copy of Jerzy Cyrulik's work (posted in January) in every respect - even the colour, but not as well drawn - surely you've got more to say for yourself as a designer than merely copying others?

I guess you did it to learn a bit more about his technique, which I can appreciate (he's really good) but hen you copy so obviously, it only highlights your weaknesses in comparison to others, so you're not really doing yourself any favours.

At least credit Jerzy for the original - be fair about it, please.

C'mon man, give us a break - and very best of luck with your own development.

Wow.

This is thousands of times better than any car render I could do, but you could tone down the burn in the front. You could change the background to something less intense, because the white region seems like the light source, and the shadows on the car conflict with the diagonal lighting. Maybe make your own hubcaps- stolen ones might look better, but it takes away a lot of originality.

That's about all- again, this is much better than what I could do, so don't be fazed by this.

...do all cool cars have no windows?

not bad. leave out the backgrounds though.. they take a lot away from your actual drawings. make your lighting effects blend better.. they'll look more realistic. work on gradients too. also.. use a more simple font for your titles.. looks cleaner. very gj on the actual drawings though.
