Hello Shi Yang, First..wow about your latest design, very very good job. And second, i'm no student and do not work in the design industry...i design just for fun, but interested to enter the design industry.
In your case, i think you have a future in 3D modelling (like your latest design), in your cv i see you are an amature, so my advice is to become a design student! You have the talent, that's a good start. Now you have to improve your skills and learn from your mistakes (everyone makes them), and most important...always be creative!!! A good sketch is the best start. Nobody can be the best designer, because design has no limit. |

| Hi Shi Yang, good you noticed this.Candy Rod is based on a T rod and the steering is missing, i will probably never finish this design but still posted this, otherwise it would disapear in the dark like many of my other designs. As i make - 30 car sketches a week only a few are finished and are seen on designerspace |

| Hello Shi Yang, i don't use Rhino, only Photoshop, my designs come alive on my wacom tablet and my jaguar suv is done freehand with only paths for the model and windows, for the rest painting like you paint on paper with a brush.My latest speeddemon is a markersketch scanned and combinated with 10 minutes in photoshop. That's my way of working |

You man thanks a lot for your comments about my design, i really apreciate that, you are getting better too.... about tips or trick it's very difficult to explain but i have some
1). if you want a nice shape of the car you need to use the path tool, i began with the poligonal lasso tool, but then i learned how to use path, it's very important.
2).You also need to know where the lights and the darkness are comming from, so you can make a nice rendering, i'm learning on that yet,you need to use burn and dodge tools with no hardness to render it.
3).You need to work with layers to do separate parts like windows ligths etc, and you can give them effects separately using ''Filter''.

Thanks for the comments about my design, sure it does look as a Mercedes Benz S class because Maybach is from The Mercedes Benz company and the Maybach is like the S class, almost the same lines but differents details.... hope you get it....by the way, keep trying hard, you can get better by practicing, good luck man. |
