When I read your e-mails (late tonight) I just kept saying what?? what?? WHAT????
Our thoughts & comments about the 3* system is not a crticism, but a suggestion for a better method for all to judge the HUGE spread of talent they are dealing with. The spread of talent between old gits like me & pre-adolescents with an etch-o-sketch & a car fetish is NOT going to be easily covered between 0-3.

I just can't believe what this page has done to you, all your cool trucks and other amazing designs had beed deleted, and you know what? I think this isn't coincidence, this problem started just when we started to send comments about the 3 STARS rating of this page wich SUCKS! and has no fair or sense.
It's extremely UNFAIR........
All this happen because we don't agree with this system,this is strange and absolutly crazy. I can believe that some guys in this page have 2 or 3 stars when they are worse than me, i have no words.......
I just want to thank your courage and nice way to resolve problems, i really like the way u do it. Just don't let this page botter you, your not a liar as they think you are, THEY are liars!

Wow! Jim! Why didn't I realise it myself? This explains so many different things:
1. The number of slaps in the face I regularly get from outrageously attractive women that I've never met before.
2. The way I always have waiters leave their thumbs in my soup in restaurants I've never been to before.
3. The way that my work colleagues think I'm an extrovert psycopath, when I'm actually a mild mannered janitor.
4. The fact that I've got a barcode tatooed on the back of my neck, which when scanned says "Number 5 of 25,000"
5. The fact that whenever I watch Bladerunner I always cry when Rutger Hauer dies at the end...

yeah I may have courage, but Mr B just cut my balls off... I've just had half my portfolio deleted - all the work I've done in industry over the past 11 years.
Basically, he maintains that it's not my work. Has my career been a lie? Maybe someone should tell my current employers, as according to Designerspace management I've done no work for JCB in the past 5 years...
Is this some kind of sick joke? Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow to find all my images reinstated and it will all have been a bad dream.

Hi Rok,
Thanks for your interest in my work.
For all my initial sketchwork I still rely on good old fashioned biro - I scan the hand drawn images into Photoshop and use a Wacom Intuous to apply all colour work.
All my 3D modelling work (and the vast bulk of the renderings) are done using Autodesk (nee Alias) Studiotools software - sometimes with a bit of post-editing in Photoshop.
Some of the most recent renderings are produced using a brand new bit of software from Autodesk called Showcase. It's a high-end real-time visualisation tool - so you get this quality of image in real-time (awesome, but true) - you can pan round it, zoom in etc. It's the most amazing bit of kit I've experienced, and I'm convinced it's going to make a big difference to the way professional designers present new concepts in the future . . .
